Programme Description

The Foundation in Business aims to provide a basic educational foundation in various aspects of business. It provides basic business concepts required in today’s business world. It is intended for learners who would like to open up their minds to creativity/innovation and enhance their business and management skills.

Programme Objectives

To expose learners to general areas in business such as; Book-Keeping, Marketing, Communication and Human Resources.

To offer employability skills and knowledge that is essential for Entrepreneurial, Employment or Academic aspirations.

Admission Requirements

Requirement 1

IGCSE – ‘O’ level with passes in English and Mathematics

Requirement 2

ICT Proficiency - ICDL or any other proof of basic computer literacy

Qualification for the award

To qualify for a Foundation in Business award, a student must take a total of six (6) units. This comprises of four (4) core units and two (2) electives.

Eight (8) months which is equivalent to 2 semesters

Monday to Friday:
08:30 am – 10:30 am
11:00 am – 01:00 pm

Tutorial Sessions:
02:00 pm – 04:00 pm

Admission Process

Attach certified copies of academic credentials, two (2) passport size photos and proof of identification (National ID or Passport)
Step 3
Pay Admission Fee of KShs 10,000/- by MPesa Paybill or cheque payment direct to the college account. Account details to be provided on request
Step 4
Submit the above items to INtel College

What next after FD

After successfully completing the Foundation in Business programme, a learner can enrol on the Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business for two (2) academic years offered at INtel College. The BTEC Higher National Diploma is a UK certified programme.
