Programme Aims

  •  The Foundation in Graphic Design aims to provide an educational foundation for those eventually wishing to pursue careers as Graphic Design professionals. The specialised studies offered are directly relevant to individual vocations and professions in which students will be working. They are also tailored to fit the student’s intent to progress to a Diploma or equivalent programme.
  •  The course provides learners with a creative and systematic plan to solve a problem or achieve certain objectives, with the use of images, symbols or even words. It further exposes learners to visual communication, aesthetic expression of concepts and ideas using various graphic elements and tools.
  •  At the end of the programme, learners develop the basic professional skills needed by businesses using Graphic Design systems. The course is intended for students who would like to learn more about Graphic Design and Information Technology, as well as those interested in eventually working as Designers, Animation Designers, in Multimedia including Play Station Development.
  •  The course is open to students who have completed high school, successfully completed IGCSE/GCSE or its equivalent and wish to attain solid foundation skills in Graphics Design. This will enable them to progress to University level education or a Diploma Programme.

Programme Objectives

  •  The Foundation in Graphic Design is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and relevant skills required for progression to a Diploma in Graphics Design or other equivalent programmes. It is also meant to bridge students who have not met the minimum entry requirements to the Diploma programme.
  •  The course exposes students to the general areas in Graphic Design that will enable them identify and specialize in their areas of interest which include Print Development, Media and Production, Web Multimedia Systems Development, ashion Design among other Graphic Design areas.

Course Requirements

  •  Candidates should have successfully completed O’ level GCSE’s or equivalent.

  • Fees Structure

    Admission Fee: KShs. 10,000/- Once only. (includes use of library and internet)
    Tuition Fee: KShs. 92,000/- per term

    Admission Process

    •  Complete the admission form from here

    •  Provide 2 passport size photographs

    •   Admission fee payment of KShs 10,000/- (ten thousand shillings only) by cash deposit direct to the college account or by cheque payment, or by MPESA (PAYBILL- 639884)

    •  Submit the application and proof of item 3 above to INtel college.
