This information sheet provides a brief of the ACCA programme offered, at INtel College. ACCA is the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. ACCA is an international programme which is recognized the world over and helps one to achieve a Chartered Certified Accountant status.

You have to register with the ACCA examining body in the UK as a student, either by post or online.

With ACCA there is career progression in any organisation for instance, most of the ACCA members work in public practice, industry, commerce and the private sector.

Course Aims

  • ACCA course is based on international accounting standards and global best-practice performance management systems. ACCA aims to enable students gain an internationally recognised qualification and to have access to job opportunities at the highest levels of business. It enables you to apply acquired knowledge and skills in any aspect of accounting, finance or in any business. In addition, the ACCA programme has an active programme of building networks with employers and thus seeks to provide a lifelong career and professional development support.

Course Objectives

  • The ACCA qualification is designed to equip students with accounting knowledge, understanding and relevant skills required for any accounting, finance, or business career progression.

  • The programme exposes students to general areas in Corporate reporting, Financial management, Sustainable management accounting, Taxation and in Audit and Assurance. The students will also be equipped with skills on Professionalism and ethics, Stakeholder relationship management, Strategy and innovation, Governance, risk and control.

ACCA Course Fee

ACCA Registration Fee is paid according to the guidelines provided

  • Admission Fee Kshs: 10,000.00

Course Requirements

The ACCA qualification is open to everyone, although your starting point will be different depending on the previous qualifications you have:


  • 1. No previous qualifications and under 21 years of age. You should complete the AAT or CAT qualification first and then move on to ACCA

  • 2. No previous qualifications and 21 years of age or over. You can join the ACCA under the Mature Student entry route. This means that you must start with the Knowledge module and more specifically you must initially pass papers F2, and F3 within 2 years

  • 3. Two A-levels and three GCSEs in five separate subjects including English and Maths

  • 4. A non-relevant degree/NVQ/QCF/Other KCSE with a Mean Grade of C Plain (C in Mathematics & English Language.)

  • Admission Process

  • 1. Complete the admission form (available at the college or downlad from our downloads link)

  • 2. Provide Certified copies of academic credentials AND 2 passport size photos

  • 3. Admission fee payment of KShs 10,000/- (ten thousands shillings only) by cash deposit direct to the college account or by cheque payment, or by MPESA (PAYBILL)

  • 4. Submit items 1-3 above to the college reception
